Sixth Place Finish in the Twelve Hours of Sebring
SEBRING, Fla. (March 15, 2025) – Dillon Machavern and Francis Selldorff finished on the podium for the Alan Jay 120 at Sebring International Raceway. The No. 95 started the race from 10th. An early strategy call from Don Salama gave the Turner BMW fresh tires as Machavern made his way through the traffic and the field to lead nine laps and build over a four second gap. Selldorff put up great laps to close the gap as he crept back up the leaderboard to park his BMW M4 GT4 EVO in third. This is Selldorff’s first podium in GS since moving up from VP Racing SportsCar Challenge last year.
In the No. 96, Robby Foley and Vin Barletta paired up for the first time in GS since the duo won the championship title in 2023. Barletta started from 19th and had a solid stint navigating traffic. Foley made his way up to eleventh but was unlucky when the two-hour race stayed green for its entirety. Foley parked the sister BMW M4 GT4 EVO in 13th to end the day.
“It’s good to be back!” smiled team owner Will Turner. “ We’ve had success in GS in the past, but we had a little bit of a dry spell last year, so finishing on the podium in the second race of the season, especially with Dillon and Francis, is great! I hope we have many more throughout the season.”
In Saturday’s Twelve Hours of Sebring, the trio of Foley, Patrick Gallagher and Jake Walker finished in sixth place. Foley rolled off the grid from 10th in the 20-car GTD field and gained several spots during his opening stint. Gallagher kept the No. 96 BMW M4 GT3 EVO out of trouble while others on track weren’t so lucky, causing cautions in the opening hours. Walker maintained great lap times and ran as high as third. As the sun set, the Turner BMW continued to run in the middle of the pack, avoiding any issues as the team prepared to turn on the Taco Power for the final hours in the dark. Foley made the push to the checkered, even passing two cars on the final lap to end the weekend with an impressive sixth place.

“After a long 12 hours, we finished sixth, which I think was our maximum today. The guys gave us a great car. We stayed out of trouble for the most part and kept it clean while a lot of people didn’t, so we inherited some positions at the end,” said Foley. “There were a lot of yellows which made the energy strategy pretty interesting, so we had to save a bit at the end. I’m really happy to get another near top five finish. That’s two good results to start the season, so we’ll try and bring that momentum into our sprint race season.”
“Solid points day. Of course I want to win every race, but I’d rather win a championship, and these are solid points for that,” said Turner. “If this is a sign of how good our team has come together and our whole package, with two strong finishes in the endurance races, then we’re going to have a great season!”
