NEWTON, N.H. (December 8, 2025) – Turner Motorsport will head to Daytona International Speedway in January with its No. 96 BMW M4 GT3 EVO for the start of IMSA’s WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The BMW race team will return with Patrick Gallagher and BMW M Works driver Robby Foley as full-time drivers in GTD. Francis Selldorff will be promoted from the team’s Michelin Pilot Challenge program to serve as the endurance driver for Michelin Endurance Cup races, while BMW M Works driver Jens Klingmann returns for the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Gallagher returns to the No. 96 for his fourth season with Turner Motorsport and Foley. The duo finished fourth in the GTD championship in 2025; second in 2024 with a win at Road America and second place podium finishes at Long Beach Street Course, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway; and fourth in 2023 with second place podium finishes at Sebring International Raceway, VIRginia International Raceway, and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in 2023. Gallagher has 34 starts in GTD, 31 being with Turner Motorsport.
“I’m very Excited to be back with Turner Motorsport for a fourth season,” said Gallagher. “I’m looking forward to Francis joining for the endurance rounds, and I think all the pieces are in place to have our strongest outing yet and I’m thankful to represent Belle Haven Investments, Liqui Moly, H&R, BMW and the men and women at TMS for another season!”
Foley enters his ninth season with the team having joined partway through the 2018 season. The 29-year-old has three championships and 200 race starts with the team across all its programs. From filling the Am seat alongside BMW M Works driver Bill Auberlen to becoming a BMW M Works driver himself in 2023 and moving into a Pro seat, Foley has raced nearly every Turner BMW since 2019 and is an integral part of the team not only behind the wheel but also as a driver coach.
“I’m very excited and honored to be back with Turner Motorsport full-time in GTD,” said Foley. “We had an up-and-down season last year but build some great momentum towards the end, which I think will bode well to start our 2026 campaign off strong. The team has really become like a family to me and I’m excited to get going with Patrick, Francis and Jens at Daytona.”
Selldorff will step into the endurance seat for the first time after rising through the ranks in the blue-and-yellow BMW after driving an M4 GT4 in Michelin Pilot Challenge for the past two season and winning the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge championship in 2023. Selldorff most recently competed in Apex One’s Sebring 10-Hour in November to test his endurance racing capabilities in the BMW M4 GT3, proving he was ready for this opportunity.
“Stepping into the GTD endurance role is a massive dream come true for me,” said Selldorff. “This is a full circle moment for me, having watched Turner Motorsport compete since I was a little kid. Having known the team for a few years now in GS and VP, I’m so excited to be a part of the great program in GTD. I also can’t express how excited I am to drive with Robby and Patrick. They have both helped me so much with my racing development and have been extraordinary mentors and friends to me. I can’t wait to support them and try to help get the whole Turner team the results they deserve.”
Klingmann will complete the line-up as the fourth driver in the Rolex 24 At Daytona. After driving the No. 96 GTD full-time in 2016 and 2017, the BMW M Works driver has driven the historic race in a Turner BMW as the endurance ace for seven seasons since 2018. Klingmann has 30 race starts with the team, and in addition to being a world-class GT driver, he brings an expertise of the Ultimate Driving Machine having developed some of the most iconic BMW race cars.
2026 will mark Turner Motorsport’s 28th season of professional racing and 17th competing in GTD and racing for a watch. In 2025, the team had its career-best finish with fifth place with the quartet of Foley, Gallagher, Klingmann, and Jake Walker.
“And another season begins,” added Team Owner, Will Turner. “I’m really excited for this one bringing back Patrick and Robby for their fourth season together. We’re also promoting Francis into the endurance seat after he showed us he has what it takes. We’re bolstering that with Jens at Daytona, and I think together the four of them will make a great team to fight for that elusive watch at the end of January.”
Turner Motorsport will begin the 2026 IMSA season at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida January 16-18, 2026 with the ROAR Before the 24.
