TURNER MOTORSPORT FINISHES FOURTH & FIFTH IN CANADA

BOWMANVILLE, ON, Canada (July 14, 2024) – Robby Foley and Patrick Gallagher scored a fourth-place finish in the IMSA Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Gallagher started with a strong third place qualifying effort and conserved fuel, while keeping pace, during two of the race’s three yellow flag cautions. The No. 96 BMW M4 GT3 charged to the front to lead the class for 21 laps. Foley took over in fourth place with an hour left of the two-hour, 40-minute sprint race and was running in podium position until contact on a restart ultimately put him in fourth to end the day. The team remains second in points in the GTD Championship going into Road America.

In Michelin Pilot Challenge, Robby Foley and Francis Selldorff scored a top five finish in Saturday’s Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 120. Selldorff qualified the No.96 BMW M4 GT4 in sixth position – less than three tenths off the pole position. The opening lap shuffle caused an immediate full course caution and Selldorff to fall back, however, he recovered two positions before handing the car off to Foley at the halfway mark. The crew made up a few more spots in pit lane and Foley managed fuel well to avoid a second stop ultimately finishing fifth and earning valuable points toward the GS championship. Dillon Machavern started the No. 95 and picked up four positions in the opening stint. Robert Megennis took over with just under an hour to go and finished just outside the top ten in twelfth position while maintaining third position in the GS championship.

The IMSA season resumes with the IMSA SportsCar Weekend in Plymouth, W.I. on August 2.
