EIGHTH-PLACE FINISH IN PETIT LE MANS
Braselton, GA (October 11, 2025) – Turner Motorsport’s Jake Walker swept the weekend with two victories in VP SportsCar Challenge, while Beltre Curtis and Robby Foley secured a podium finish in Michelin Pilot Challenge. Walker, Foley, and Patrick Gallagher also finished Petit Le Mans in eighth for the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Jake Walker continued his dominant performance in VP SportsCar Challenge with two wins from pole position in his No. 6 BMW M4 GT3. The 19-year-old claimed his sixth consecutive victory and ninth win of the season. Walker previously secured wins at Circuit of the Americas, Mid-Ohio Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, and VIRginia International Raceway before sweeping the weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
The No. 6 started the season with a setback after not starting round one and not finishing round two after an incident in qualifying at Daytona International Speedway. Despite the early deficit, Walker finished the season second in the championship. Teammate Vin Barletta also finished second in the Bronze Cup championship.
Beltre Curtis made his debut in Michelin Pilot Challenge, driving the No. 96 BMW M4 GT4 EVO with Foley. The rookie started in 13th and delivered an impressive stint, keeping pace with teammate Francis Selldorff and gaining two positions. Foley jumped to seventh after stopping for tires and fuel with less than an hour remaining, then steadily worked his way through the field to finish on the third step of the podium. The No. 96 finishes the season in sixth in the championship.
Selldorff started his No. 95 in eight. Dillon Machavern was running strong until his Turner BMW was spun and dropped back in 18th. Machavern ultimately crossed the line in 14th. The No. 95 finishes the season in seventh in the championship.
In the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s season finale, Gallagher started the No. 96 BMW M4 GT3 EVO from ninth in class and climbed into third in his initial stint of the 10-hour endurance race. Walker managed traffic skillfully, conserving fuel and surviving unlucky contact. Foley closed out the race with a triple stint under green-flag conditions. The Turner BMW finished on the lead lap in eighth, ending the season fourth in the championship.
“We had a really strong car today,” said Foley. “Ultimately, we had a couple setbacks that put us toward the end of the lead lap at the end of the race, and we couldn’t quite make it up. But we definitely had the pace to be on podium today, which is positive. It was an awesome weekend overall. It was nice to get a podium in GS with Beltre for his first race and a good way to end our season in Michelin Pilot Challenge.
“This year we didn’t have any standout results in terms of podiums or wins, but we’ve been very consistent and executed well, so we’ll take that momentum into next year and try and build on that.”
The 2026 IMSA season kicks off at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, with the ROAR Before the 24, January 16-18, 2026.
