TURNER MOTORSPORT WIN DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SRO SEASON FINALE

BACK-TO-BACK PRO-AM TITLE IN GTWC AND CHAMPION IN GT AMERICA

INDIANAPOLIS (October 19, 2025) – Turner Motorsport clinched double championships at the SRO season finale at Indianapolis Motor Speedway going back-to-back in GT World Challenge America and securing the GT America title after race one.

Robby Foley, Justin Rothberg and Patrick Gallagher finished third in overall Pro-Am and first in Pro-Am America in the Indianapolis 8 Hour, securing the GT World Challenge America Pro-Am championship. The trio qualified the No. 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO ninth overall and first in Pro-Am. The team executed well under green flag conditions through the first half of the race, until lightning and heavy rain brought out a red flag, halting action for more than two hours. The race resumed under caution with approximately 90 minutes remaining and finished behind the safety car as rain continued to soak The Brickyard. This weekend’s podium finish capped off an impressive season that included five wins and five podiums for the No. 29 BMW.

“We finished up Indy in the best way possible,” said Foley. “We had a clean race. Obviously, weather played a factor, but we wrapped up the championship, finished third overall in Pro-Am, and first in the American class – so it was a great day. I’m happy to get two in a row.

“Justin has made incredible progress this season – he’s on a great trajectory. Our second year working together has been awesome; we were faster, more consistent, and racked up more wins. We definitely wanted to finish the season racing under green, but regardless, it’s been an amazing year. Huge thanks to Turner Motorsport, LATICRETE, all our partners, and every member of this incredible team.”

“The stars really aligned for us,” added Rothberg. “Everything fell into place. Robby and I are champions again, and it feels fantastic.”

“Great job by everyone at Turner, especially Robby and Justin and all the guys and girls on the team,” said Gallagher. “I was happy they trusted me to come back for a second year to help them win the championship and put LATICRETE on the podium. It was fun and a great way to end the year.”

“Coming into this race, I was hopeful that we’d win another championship, but walking away with two is surreal,” said team owner Will Turner. “I knew the team could do it, and things just went our way. I’m super excited and ready to shoot for it again next year.”

In GT America, Rothberg charged forward during a wild opening lap of race one and quickly found himself in an early battle. The No. 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO made two key passes to drive away in fourth place. Though he narrowly missed the podium, the calculated effort safely locked in the championship title with one race remaining. Rothberg’s road to the title included five race wins and four podium finishes. With the championship title secured, the team elected not to race on Sunday due to inclement weather.

The two championships mark Turner Motorsport’s 11th and 12th titles in its 28-year history racing professionally – exclusively with BMW. In addition to last year’s GT World Challenge America Pro-Am title, the team holds two titles in SPEED World Challenge and seven titles across all IMSA series.

“Every championship that we’ve had over the years has been a little bit different, and they’re all special in different ways, said Turner. “Some are harder than others, and this one was certainly difficult, but the effort paid off.”

The 2026 SRO GT World Challenge America season kicks off at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California, March 27-29, 2026.
