SEBRING, Fla. (May 9, 2026) – Turner Motorsport secured its first win of the 2026 GT World Challenge America season in Round 3 at Sebring International Raceway. The victory marks the first in the Pro class for Robby Foley and Justin Rothberg.
Rothberg started the No. 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO from third and tackled the bumps in the Florida heat for just under half of the three-hour race. Foley took over in the second stint and immediately applied pressure to make the pass into second place. As the Sebring sun began to set with 45 minutes remaining, Foley was making progress when the race leader suffered a mechanical issue, allowing the Turner BMW to inherit the lead. A late restart set up a 22-minute sprint to the finish, and Foley pulled away from the field to secure the victory by more than eight-seconds.
The GT World Challenge America season continues June 11-14 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia
Robby Foley, Driver of the No. 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO
“We had an awesome day here at Sebring to get our first win in the Pro class and first overall win of the year. It was a great day, and the guys worked really hard to give us a good LATICRETE BMW in the heat, which was tricky, honestly.
“The track has been hot all week, and hot outside, so we’ve been focusing on trying to keep the tires under us for the duration of the race, and I think we did that really well today. It made the last restart a little bit tricky until my front tires came in, but once they did, we could set sail. But awesome result, and thanks to the team and Justin for a great weekend.”
Justin Rothberg, Driver of the No. 29 BMW M4 GT3 EVO
“It feels amazing getting our first win in the Pro class here at Sebring. The team gave us an amazing LATICRETE BMW M4 Sebring is a brutal track, and add in 100-degree temperatures, it feels like a really good accomplishment.
“The 34 ran a great race, and you always hate for someone to go out like that, that that’s racing, and I’m proud of the work we put in to be in a spot to benefit. I hope to earn the win fighting with them later this season.
“But overall, really great feeling. It’s even more special that my parents, grandmother, and dog Lola were here to see it – I couldn’t do any of this without them.”
