- Dillon Machavern and Luca Mars are looking to recover from a very unlucky finish at Watkins Glen. The duo still lead the points standings by 60 points coming into this weekend.
- The 42-car field includes 29 in GS.
- Turner Motorsport has not won at CTMP in IMPC but the team was on podium in 2007 in the ST class with Trevor Hopwood and Adam Burrows (2nd) and started from pole the same year in the GS class with Will Turner and Don Salama.
