“I think it’s going to be a whole new can of worms with the new pavement. A lot of teams have tested there including ourselves. It’s a lot fun. It’s a couple seconds faster with very little tire degradation. I think that will open up some different strategy options. As opposed to in years past, you had to be on the freshest set of tires, and that was kind of the key to victory. I think you’ll see people do some interesting things to get track position because it will be difficult to pass, but I’m looking forward to it.” – Robby Foley |

Nuggets
- WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is an 11-turn, 2.238-mile road course featuring the famous Corkscrew turn.
- The Corkscrew is a one-of-a-kind turn in motorsports with a 59-foot drop between the entrance of turn 8 and the exit of 8A – the equivalent of a 5.5 story drop in only 450 feet of track length. From turn 8 to 9, the elevation falls 109 feet, or just over 10 stories.
- Repaving of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca was completed in June 2023. Many teams including Turner have tested on the new surface but it will pose a new challenge for race weekend.
- Last year, the Turner No. 97 of Bill Auberlen and Chandler Hull earned a P2 finish.
