This month, IMSA and teams in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will be raising awareness and support for children battling pediatric cancer and other serious illnesses through the Resilient Racer program. The initiative celebrates the strength & courage of some amazing kids from Austin Hatcher Foundation & Camp Boggy Creek who will have their names on race cars at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Turner Motorsport’s Resilient Racer is Dyran H. from the Austin Hatcher Foundation who courageously battled high-risk neuroblastoma. Dyran’s name will ride along on the No. 96 BMW M4 GT3 EVO in the Battle of the Bricks. Read more about Dyran’s story below.

Dyran was diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma in April 2023 when he was just 4 years old. Dyran’s treatment was long and hard, but he smiled every day. He has been two years cancer free, and while they don’t know what the future holds, his family refuses to live life in fear of what may or may not happen.
Austin Hatcher Foundation has been helpful to Dyran and his family, holding their hands through everything. Now 7 years old, Dyran is doing very well, but still suffers from the side effects both physically and emotionally.
We’re honored to share Dyan’s story and raise awareness and funds to support Austin Hatcher Foundation and Camp Boggy Creek.
Join us in supporting Resilient Racers with a donation directly supporting kids like Dyran. Donations will support IMSA’s two charity partners, Austin Hatcher Foundation and Camp Boggy Creek.
Austin Hatcher Foundation’s mission is to provide a lifetime of free, comprehensive support to pediatric cancer patients and their families through mental, behavioral, educational, and social services, so they can cope in the present and thrive in the future.
Camp Boggy Creek makes it possible for children with serious illness and their families to experience a free, life-changing camp where safety, respect, love and joy come together to enrich their physical and behavioral health. The Camp is a year-round retreat serving thousands of campers and their families through activity-packed weekly and weekend programs.
