“We had a lot of pace in Daytona, so I’m feeling very confident heading into COTA. Turner Motorsport and BMW have put together a fast, competitive car, and I know we have what it takes to fight up front.
“The approach will change quite a bit for COTA – it’s a more technical track with a mix of tight, low-speed corners and fast, flowing sections, especially through the eases. The modified NASCAR layout adds another challenge, making precision and tire management even more critical. Keeping the car balanced through the technical sections will be key. I’m looking forward to getting back on track and fighting for a strong result.”

Nuggets
- IMSA’s VP Racing SportsCar Challenge will serve as a support series to NASCAR weekend at COTA, therefore we’ll be racing a modified road course at 2.3 miles with 20 turns.
- Robby Foley will be with the team this weekend but not in a fire suit. He’ll be on the pit stand as the engineer and driver coach.
- Turner has won three times at COTA – 2014 (GTD – Jens Klingmann & Bret Curtis), 2013 (GTD and GS – Bill Auberlen & Paul Dalla Lana)
