Nuggets:

  • After two years as an endurance race, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway round is back to a 2-hour, 40-minute sprint race.
  • The No. 96 sits in second in the points standings after a big 2nd-place finish at VIR. The GTD championship is extremely close coming into this weekend with just 56 points separating the top three teams. The No. 96 sits just 36 points behind the leader and only has a 20-point lead over third.
  • The 44-car field includes 13 in GTD. The full field returns with all four classes for Indianapolis after the GT-only race at VIR.
  • Dane Cameron started the Turner BMW from pole position in GTD in 2014.
  • The team podiumed at IMS in GTD in 2023 with Robby Foley, Patrick Gallagher, and Jake Walker (P2).
  • Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s road course is 2.43-miles long with 14 turns and runs clockwise (opposite the Indy 500).

Meet our Resilient Racer Dyran H.!

This month, IMSA and teams in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship are raising awareness and support for children battling pediatric cancer and other serious illnesses through the Resilient Racer program.

The program celebrates the strength & courage of some amazing kids from Austin Hatcher Foundation & Camp Boggy Creek who will have their names on race cars at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Turner Motorsport’s Resilient Racer is Dyran H., from the Austin Hatcher Foundation, who courageously battled high-risk neuroblastoma. Dyran’s name will ride along on the No. 96 BMW M4 GT3 EVO in the Battle on the Bricks.
